WMD lets us know that their Performance Mixer LE – an all-in-one 10-channel Eurorack mixing solution – is available again for a limited time.
The Performance Mixer LE combines their Performance Mixer Eurorack module with its channel expander module, behind one engraved panel.
The Performance Mixer is an 8-channel audio mixer, designed specifically for live performance and jam sessions within the modular ecosystem. It features 12 audio inputs for the first 6 channels, and 2 true stereo channels.
2 mono auxiliary sends with dual mono returns, stereo send and return, and another set of stereo mix inputs give you the routing you need to handle mixing directly in your modular system.
The performance mixer also includes a cue mix section, so you can monitor incoming signals in headphones before sending them to the front-of-house mix. Just like on a DJ mixer, the cue mix knob determines how much of the cue vs the FOH mix you hear in the phones.
Performance Mixer Highlights:
- 6 Mono channels with 2 switchable or summed inputs gives you a total of 12 inputs.
- 4 True stereo channels
- CUE Mixing allows you to monitor signals before they hit front of house
- Voltage control over Level and Panning for all channels
- 2 Auxiliary sends, switchable for each channel
- Aux sends are available Pre and Post fader via switch
- 2 mono and 2 stereo unity gain inputs for adding submixes or external audio sources
- 2 Headphone outs, 1-3.5 mm and 1- ¼ inch for collaboration and convenience
PM Channels Highlights:
- Two sets of inputs for each stereo channel that can be selected or summed via the 3-way toggle switch.
- More than 30dB of gain over each channel lets you use external sources such as consumer audio equipment, not just modular signals.
- CV over Gain, Level, Pan, and the Aux send for both channels.
- Channels can be muted with PM Mutes expander as well as included in the Cue Mix.
Pricing and Availability
WMD says that the Performance Mixer LE will be available for a limited time. It’s available to pre-order for $$1,129 USD.

Must have been a few spare nuts and bolts left over in the factory. Fair enough.
I have the regular mixer from them and it is quite good. For this LE version I wish they had gone all out and included the mutes expansion as well

now i will never know what ned wrote… i don’t care to be “personally attacked” 🙂
nice mixer any flavor. I agree if there going to go all out add mutes expander and do it for 1k total
Inflation much? The brand name just seems to mock war, and it loses them sales with me. Why name your brand after Bush? Said as a mildly reformed conservative. Music should not have any association with war.
WMD, while being an obvious double entendre whose original aesthetic played on atomic weapons, is named for the founder of the company: William Mathewson Devices
this is great!
did not know that, neat!
the company should have the freedom to name whatever they want. and you have the freedom to just not buy it. but trying to set a profound statement cause your feelings are hurt by something that doesn’t really effect you is kind of silly. it is overpriced but the name is irrelevant.
You do realize complaining about someone’s opinion and telling them they ‘don’t have to buy it’ is even sillier, right?
as is your comment 🙂
where is he sourcing parts for this in US? that is absolutely ridiculous price for a mixer euro or not
the cost is too low, i don’t know if i can trust a mixer for only 1k
you can buy Tascam Model 24, Mackie 1604VLZ4 or Allen & Heath ZED-24 for $999 and still take your wife to a nice dinner. Where is that 500 dollars over what it should cost going into?
“you can buy Tascam Model 24, Mackie 1604VLZ4 or Allen & Heath ZED-24 for $999 and still take your wife to a nice dinner. ”
And absolutely none of your suggested options support voltage control or can be installed in a modular system.
Everyone that’s complained about the price on this mixer is advertising fundamental gaps in their knowledge of modular synths and how synthesists perform with them these days. These will sell out to people that know their shit inside and out.
I know modular homie, its a great mixer its a bit overpriced. not extremely overpriced but a bit and at this price point they should have the mutes. just because others disagree with you doesn’t mean they lack knowledge in the subject.
my wife is overpriced anyway…
we can split the cost if your interested?
i will just get a bife instead
