The latest video from PiXimperfect takes a look at Adobe Podcast Enhance, a free online tool, now in ‘beta’, that’s designed to make informally recorded voice recordings “sound as if they were recorded in a professional studio”.
In the video, host Unmesh Dinda notes the obvious – that you’re going to get the best results if you record your voice in a treated room, using a good mic and good mic technique. But then he goes on to demonstrate real world recording challenges, especially for location audio, that make can make your audio trash, and then demonstrates how much of an improvement Enhance can make.
Enhance is available now as a free service, but you do have to set up an account on the site.
