Thereminist Grégoire Blanc shared this microtonal teatime jam, exploring 27-tone equal temperament on modular synthesizer, theremin and bass.
“Glad to finally feature some out-of-tune theremin lines on purpose,” notes Blanc.

Excellent!
Brilliant! Wonderful sounds
Certainly in tune! Just not the tunings we normally hear. Beautiful, beautiful piece!
doesn’t sound out of tune to me at all. the video was unnecessary nonsense – the music was all I needed. good performance! more! love that fretless.
This is great.
Genius lifts
I recall seeing a younger Grégoire on a French TV talent show. He is now a virtuoso of the theremin and a fine pianist, bass player to boot.
I don’t think anyone experiences this as “out of tune”. It’s very clearly in tune, and musical – it’s just not 12tet.
Wow! Creates that aural pleasure, that sense of rightness I first remember getting with Wendy Carlos’s work when she played with tempraments for Bach etc.
Wow. Awesome!! Well done
I want to know what modulor synth he is using. Love the way it looks
