KORG iM1 Update Adds iPhone, AUv3 Compatibility

Korg has updated iM1, its virtual M1 synthesizer for iOS, adding iPhone support and more.

Here’s what’s new in version 1.2.0:

  • iPhone is now supported.
  • AUv3 is now supported. You can use iM1 in other iOS music production apps.
  • Various other tweaks have been made to improve stability.

Pricing and Availability:

Korg iM1 is available now for $14.99 USD.

  1. this is one of the best ipad apps in existence

    btw, it has the full soundset from the “Akira” movie, which is alone worth it…

    but then it has a ton of other soundcards on there too

  2. Any other owners of the ipad version of iM1 getting prompted to pay for the iOS version? it looks like it is the same app as the OG ipad version and it’s been updated for iphone…. so why would we need to re-pay for it?

    1. If you already own the iPad version you can download on your iPhone for free.
      The app store shows a price, but once you buy the app it will say that this update is free because you already own the app.
