SOMA Laboratory shared this video demo of SimplexFM, a free alternate firmware for the their Metaconformer MIDI router that turns it into a 4-track digital organismic synth.

They say that “SimplexFM is the pocket-sized successor of LYRA-8 ideas. Complex and surprising sound behavior comes from the interaction of timbres, not dozens of modulators and LFOs.”
