  1. I would totally buy suite for $300. Ableton should think about competitive pricing and maybe offer their lowest tier for free. Look at DaVinci Resolve for an example.

    1. Suite is pricey but in terms of plugins, fx, features and also M4L then no other daw offers anything close to that. Especially one that has a session view performance oriented workflow

      1. I fully agree with you, it’s the best and only relevant modern DAW, but for every one person I know with the paid version I’ve met 10 people with cracked versions.

        1. Well the good thing is that when you do buy in to suite then the upgrades to each new version become much more reasonable. I think Live 11 to Live 12 was like €159 or something like that

    2. Lite is free with whatever it’s bundled with. Suite is still a good deal. Ableton is a small company who have put way more effort into making Live great than most companies would.

    3. Bitwig Studio is superior. Got mine 50% off for the 10th anniversary. There’s a reason why the Ableton devs left the company to make Bitwig.

    1. They did. It’s on the Ableton Push 3. Copy over the files and you can run a linux build of Ableton.
