LFOstore has introduced Berlin Era, a new sound library for Korg Wavestate synthesizers, inspired by classic Berlin School style sounds.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
“This collection of 40 exclusive presets are created by well-known sound designer, OttO K. Schwarz, and pays tribute to legends like Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, seamlessly blending the warmth of vintage analog synthesis with the precision of modern digital sound design.
From pulsating rhythmic patterns to cosmic leads, Berlin Era equips you with the tools to recreate the iconic sound of retro-futurism, reimagine classic textures with contemporary depth and explore uncharted cosmic territories! All presets are modulation wheel and X/Y Pad – assigned, which gives you a wide options to rule and customize the sound.”
Pricing and Availability:
Berlin Era is available now for €20.
Another trash piano from this bungus brand KORG, spare the consumers and stop scamming people with cheap japanese plastic sweatshop toy
What on earth are you raving on about?!
Bungus is new one to me. I must admit though, I quite like it. Bungus!
However, I’m of the mind that it is in fact you who is bungus.
He is just saying that the built in keybed is awful and he is correct. Get the module version if you must have any Korg…
Ah, I see.
And I somewhat agree with the assessment of Korg’s modern keybeds.
That’s why I have the Monologue XD module.
However, I disagree with the entirety of the rest of the ramblings.
Korg are neither bungus, nor scammers and nor are they either operators of Japanese sweatshops.
I like the keybed on the MS2000 though.
No. Buy the original keyboard versions because they can be had for less than half the price of the module. They’ve invented a cool technology called MIDI that allows you to play synths from another, better, keyboard. Bungus!!
Korg does big sales on Reverb. They did with Drumlogue, Opsix, Microkorg… just wait and it’ll go on sale eventually lol. They’re just raspberry pi VSTs at this point.
I’ve never met a good keyboardist who complains about synth action feel.
Right, good keyboardists can even play advanced piano music on synth action keybed reasonably well.
The software versions of the line are solid. The various engines are a bit fiddly in places, but the sound is satisfying. I’d love to see how many module & software versions Korg has sold amidst the hate for the dubious keybeds. I’m sure they didn’t design them to fail, but offering those alternatives seems like a smart move. A more upscale controller can do away with a lot of issues.
