Something To Think About

The traditional way of recording or of performing is documentary. I like the alternate way of continual discovery so that a piece of music that I put down in the studio is unique and later on I can work on a different version, when I have thought about it, and put that down as a unique expression. Then when it comes to selecting one which best represents an idea, then I can. This is impossible in performance because you have to take what you get.
