NSFW Videos Reveal The Sound Of Clothes

In 2006, ShowStudio filmed a series of film shorts designed to explore The Sound of Clothes.

Anechoic is a ‘collections story’ project that uses sound instead of visuals to interpret the essence of key garments by leading fashion brands.

A live recording session in a specialist recording studio -a hemi-anechoic chamber- on 1 June 2006 wasused to create a series of groundbreaking interactives that for the first time detail the precise sound of fashion materials such as feathers, sequins, glass crystals and beads, nylon, taffeta, leather, velvet, jacquard, zips and metallic chains. The live broadcast was filmed and edited to create abstract shorts of each audio session.

NSFW because of brief supermodel nudity, slow graceful movements in PVC pants, leather capes, rubber tops, cock feather jackets and lots of rubbing of clothes.

It’s fascinating footage that reveals an infinite variety of (loud) sound that we don’t normally notice.
