  1. Warning: there is *more* than meets the eye here!

When you go to that website you'll notice that you're grabbing yourself the "AW Series" and not so much 1 specific VST. Now, be very careful *not* to "diss" for example "Analog Warfare.dll" just because you may think that since "Analog Warfare 3.1.dll" is a later version so you don't need that old stuff. At least don't do this without having actually listened to it.

When I messed with 3.1 I noticed many sounds being driven by an arpeggio and some of that stuff sounded a bit "too clean" for me (hard to explain). So I decided to try the 1st version. Other sounds, other effects; even beautiful pads…

I think all 3 synths have some interesting and specific sounds to 'm and they all seem to differ a bit here and there (keep in mind; this is all based on a good glimpse).

Anyway; right now I'm keeping all 3 around for the moment to study this some more. Very interesting stuff. Just used the 'Electric bass' preset on version 3.1 and applied the Live 'Amp' effect to it in 'Bass' mode… I think this has some great potential indeed!

Oh; and keep a good eye out for that disclaimer as well: "The AW series can be used without any restrictions in commercial music.", Now *that* is full freedom in my book. Really worth your time you guys (IMO of course).

  2. I agree with SynthFan, make sure to try Analog Warfare 1, it’s really good and probably my favorite in the series.
Big props to Angular Momentum, for all their plugins.
