  1. While I'm not actually interested in this synth (I'm much more inclined to go with Arturia's Spark), what I /would/ mention here is that Rob Papen is really rounding out his set of synths and seems well-positioned for the next NI-Komplete-sized package. …Which I think is great.

I'll add that RP's Predator is /actually/ my favorite VA at the moment. I've owned it for… oh… four years, now, I think, and it's one that I always come back to. Easy to edit, sounds great, has a mix of "analogue-style" and digital sounds, and has *tons* of modulation routing (including effects), which is awesome. My third favorite synth (behind Omnisphere and Surge).

  2. I don't know if you had a chance to hear it. But just in case you did not – this Punch is absolutely amazing. Great features and absolutely top notch quality of the sound, only comparable to Omnisphere by Spectrasonics.

Spark is very good too, and physical controller of course adds a big appeal, but in terms of sound – not in the same league. At least from what I heard at NAMM with noise and sounds around.

  3. another meh sounding plugin i'd expect. Nice GUI , but i wouldn't buy it just for looks and judging by the description , it doesnt do anything that any other drum machine is doing. I'd prefer DSK minidrumz and applying the effects myself , and that is free.
