Mutable Instruments uploaded this set of audio demos that compare the filter options for the Shruthi-1 synthesizer.
The basic Shruthi-1 kit features two digital oscillators and an analog filter. The filter is on its own board, though, and there are now four options that you can choose from.

I have both the Shruti-1 with the Curtis CEM3379 filter and the newer Shruthi-1 with the SMR4. They both are little boxes of wonder, and I can only recomend them to everybody!
Actually I think there is something really wonderful about the mix of lof-fi 8bit oscillators and analogue filters…
Problem is – all four sound pretty wicked.
This synth is just amazing. It sounds like nothing else.
