Synthesist, sound designer and developer Erik Norlander let us know that he’s launched a new company, Norlander Sound Works, and released its initial product, Electromagnetica.
Electromagnetica is collection of 16 hardware instruments with 32 distinct sampled timbres. It features “golden specimens” of vintage Rhodes, Wurlitzer, and Yamaha electric pianos. \
Each of the 32 sampled timbres has 5 patch variations: a dry version, a chorused version, a phaser effect version, a pad layer version, and an acoustic grand piano layer version using the Spitfire Church Steinway from the Unify Standard Library.
8 macro controls give you instant access to tremolo depth and speed, EQ, pad volume, overdrive, modulation effect on/off and reverb level. So you can quickly find the best patch for your track from the more than 150 patches, and then easily dial it in with the macros to precisely fit in your arrangement.
“This library was created with a lot of love and commitment,” notes Norlander, “I hope you will make some great music with it!”
