ChronoStream Update Changes Pitch and Time Faster

P Softhouse has updated CHRONOStream to version 2.0. The Windows time and pitch scaling software processes audio seven times faster, according to the company.

CHRONOStream uses the company’s PHISYX 2 (Phase Interpolated and Synchronized Expansion) engine for controlling phases in audio. Time and pitch can be changed independently, so you can speed up or slow down the audio with out any pitch change, or change the pitch without making your audio file any shorter or longer in duration.

“Its pitch shifting technology will help professional music creators to manipulate their audio resources as what they wish,” notes Hatakeyama Keiki, a chief executive officer at P Softhouse.
