iPad Music Software: Jason Burns’ Philocast vlog takes a look at using the AC-7 Pro application for the Apple iPad:

With a quick set up, you can take full control of your mixes in Pro Tools, Logic Studio and more via WiFi to put your mix in your hands instead of a mouse.

  1. Doesn’t work for digital performer, it sees the wifimidi, but doesn’t lock into the Jackie control surface. Works in reason fine. I wanted to use his as a remote mix/control surface, hope I can get a solution. This would be great for controlling dp when in the vocal booth, or in main room when laying live instruments.

  2. I got AC-7 running on a machine running windows XPSP3 Nuendo 3 w mackie Control . Most things work meter bridge etc.. but the track names dont transfer from PC to iphone..
