WHAT!?!?? thats crazy if you read that in bryan fellows voice you just lost the game
this person obviously seems to enjoy patching and automating a great deal more than composing music.
this person obviously seems to enjoy making the most of the latest technology a great deal more than waiting for others to make it for him.
As soon as I saw that m4l patch I was impressed, so much stuff!
I'm guessing that this uses touchOSC on the iPad?
What's composing music?
Think of what how serial or aleatoric composers works – how is this any less composing?

Guess that begs the question as to whether Aleatoric or Serial composition could be considered composition as well. A long lasting debate when I was in music school studying composition.
It comes down to the results – and technology should help people work faster and (hopefully) free up more time to try new things and refine their music.
how about, he can probably do both. and just chose to make things easier for everyone in this project and concentrate on patching and making the software.
