This video, via flamingstylus, demonstrates one approach to connecting an iPad to an iPhone or other iOS device, using hardware MIDI.
Setting up a simple hardware link like this is fairly convoluted, but works. We’re looking forward to seeing simple, inexpensive hardware solutions along with greater support for Wireless MIDI.
Is there anything going on in those cables that couldn't be replaced with a simple, proper adapter?

Is there another way to do this? I have The CCK Kit for IPad, and a Turtle Beach USB MID Cable.I dont have a Midi Mobilizer for I touch. There should be a connecter kit for I touch/Iphone.
We need to petition apple to get this going wirelessly. Maybe bluetooth to bluetooth? If I can use touchosc on logic….
