The Dark Zebra – Hans Zimmer & Howard Scarr’s Dark Knight Synthesizer

Here’s a sneak preview of u-he’s The Dark Zebra software synthesizer – a Zebra2 soundbank created by Hans Zimmer and Howard Scarr for the soundtrack to The Dark Knight Rises.

A few of the clips reveal ZebraHZ features that are not present in the regular Zebra2.

The Dark Zebra synth will be available starting July 23rd, 2012 at the u-he site for $99. .

Note: Running the HZ version of this plugin requires a license for Zebra2.

  1. I noticed on the credits for the film that Zimmer and Scarr are credited for “Synthesizer Programming”,
    which, of course is all due and correct. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other films that had this title credited?
