Developer Cableguys have released FilterShaper 3 – which they say offers “filter, volume and pan modulations on steroids”.
Here’s what they have to say about FilterShaper 3:
FilterShaper 3 takes a giant leap into unconventional sound design with two powerful filters, freely editable modulation curves, and an immensely flexible modulation framework.
The new Sallen-Key type filters deliver a rich, warm, intricate sound. Create complex, shifting, interweaving effects. Apply subtle nuances or giant wobbles. From filtersweeps and stereo tremolo to surgically-precise filter control and multiband sidechain effects.
Here’s the video preview for FilterShaper 3:
Pricing and intro offer:
FilterShaper is $89. On Monday, January 20, and Tuesday, January 21, you can get FilterShaper 3 for $69.
If you try FilterShaper 3, let us know what you think of it!
Everything’s on steroids these days..
I think it sounds great and could be a source of endless fun! Tons of modulation never hurts. The price is right, too. I love the idea of being able to freely draw env shapes.
Looks like the virus Ti interface…Filter section..different color though
Filter FM ??
Is it AU? They may want to clarify what format it is.
FilterShaper 3 is available for VST+AU, Mac+PC, in 32- and 64-bit.
That should be on iPad as a Audiobus Fx slot unit for $9.99 for the cheapskates!
Are there people in here who down-vote just because it’s a VST??
@Metachemical: I think there are several Synthtopia readers that down-vote just to be contrary. You could post an innocuous comment like, “Many people like pizza,” or, “Synthtopia is neat,” and probably get two down-votes here.
PS This looks cool, but I’d rather have it in Reason.
Synthtopia is neat.
Many people like pizza from Synthtopia
Whaaaaaaat??
Synthtopia uses too many iOS toppings!! What about “real” synth toppings?
They should just admit that they only make apple pizza and call their site iOSTopia!!1!ONE1!!
Are they analog or digital pizzas?
Cableguys – great product! Not sure if the product does this, but I’d love it if in addition to drawing a filter curve using a mouse, you could ‘record’ the filter automation using a MIDI controller.
I am neutral on this product, the fgts can now vote me down
ios please 🙂 i would oay 20bucks
