In this video, Jesse McCreadie, synth module designer at AniModule, shows his approach to moving beyond just making interesting sounds with his modular synthesizer and creating complete songs.

McCreadie demonstrates using an Akai MPC 1000 as the controller for his system, and how he uses it to control both his modular and some other synths.

  1. Had a chance to meet Jesse and see how he works a couple years back. Great guy – really dedicated to his craft and customers. Makes fantastic, affordable modules. I have the V9a vc sequencer, Tiktok clock divider, and the M1xXOR and use them in almost every patch.
