In this video, via Consordini Musical instruments, Alex Scott takes a look at the TC Electronic 2290-DT hardware controlled delay plugin for MacOS & Windows.
The system emulates the classic sound of the 80’s TC2290 dynamic delay, but lets you run multiple instances, combining the benefits of tactile control with the flexibility of software.
Pricing and Availability
The TC2290-DT is priced at US $349. See the TC Electronic site for details.

349 is a heckuva lot for a dongle.
This is pretty cool. I really only make synth music but I’d definitely use this.
Hmm…a software controller… its a bit too small in my opinion….
It ‘looks’ really cool. But, I see him tap-tap-taping those buttons instead of just being able to turn a dial…
i genuinely like this. Yes, it’s “dongle-esque”, but it’s also mimicking the interfaces on those old machines pretty fucking well
