Pricing and Availability
Pathfinder WT Wavetable Synthesizer For Kontakt Player is available now for € 50.00 (intro price, normally € 60.00).
That’s a very nice, compact synth anyone could employ easily. Its more direct than my other wavetable synths, so I’m considering it. Wavetables have become so refined, they’re stepping on FM, additive and VA a bit. I just wish Kontakt didn’t have such a grip on the throat of so many libraries. I balk at dropping $400 on it, just to use it as a sample playback unit. I already pre-committed to other 2 samplers, sigh. I miss out on a few appealing NI things, but it just makes me dig deeper for options. I appreciate it when they offer tools that work within Kontakt Player, though. Its a smart way to win people over to your platform.
