Erica Synths Intros Zen Delay VST

Erica Synths has introduced Zen Delay Virtual (ZDV), a software successor to hits Zen Delay hardware effects module.

Zen Delay Virtual is not just a digital replica or replacement of the original hardware, but adds several new functions.

Features:

  • The new LFO page breathes surprising rhythmic animation to life, controlling Filter and Delay, with FM and AM controls to add further dank modulation scope.
  • The preset manager helps to save your own effect settings. Comes with a selection of killer presets from our talented team of mutant sound smiths such as Mijk van Dijk, Nerk from Toktok, Dr Walker of Air Liquide and others.
  • New groove timings of the various triplets and dotted delay times
  • Change the routing between the delay and filter stages, even inserting the filter within the feedback loop.

Here’s the official Zen Delay Virtual demo, by CDM’s Peter Kirn:

Pricing and Availability:

Zen Delay Virtual is available now, for Mac & Windows, for €99.00.

  1. I have a lot of delay plugins that only get little use because they are tedious to operate. This one is really hands-on and sounds excellent.

    1. Valhalla Delay is a great plugin that covers a wide range of bread-and-butter delay tasks. Zen Delay Virtual is more much specialized and gets pretty gnarly and quirky, partly due to the modulation options and the filter that the Valhalla plugin lacks.
