Free Music Software: Developer Ohm Force has announced that it is releasing seven of its legacy plugins as free downloads, for Mac (Intel & Apple Silicon) and Windows.
The free plugins include:
- Ohmboyz delay – (Ohmboyz Infinity granpa)
- Ohmicide:Melohman distortion
- Symptohm:Melohman synth
- Quad Frohmage filter bank
- Hematohm freq shifter
- Mobilohm Phaser.
- Ohmygod… thing.
To get them, you’ll need to set up an account at the Ohm Force site.

It’s especially cool that they upgraded them to Apple Silicon before retiring them.
Turns out the Apple Silicon thing is not accurate.
Their support page only shows Intel 32 and 64 for Mac, and 32 & 64 for Window. Someone on another forum loaded one of them and confirmed no AS native compatibility.
No mention of Apple Silicon anywhere. Not sure how that got started.
Tested on Mac mini M2 pro (Ventura). Confirmed working in Logic. NOT working in Pro Tools 2023.6 native Mode. Working in Pro Tools Rosetta-Mode.
Complex manual installation but no serial numbers are needed.
Symptohm sample loading of presets not working. (all samples have to be searched manually)
