Ambient Synth Jam At The Airport, With A Teenage Engineering OP-XY Synthesizer

Sunday Synth Jam: Synthesist Pasquale Lello (Lo-fi Pask) shared this ambient synth jam, recorded on a Teenage Engineering OP-XY while waiting at the airport:

Here’s what shared about the technical details:

“It’s incredible how easily ideas take shape with Teenage Engineering OP-XY. Last night, while working on another project, this ‘ambient’ experiment was born. I used all factory presets, except for the airport background noise. It was recorded with the Teenage Engineering TX-6, which added extra reverb and some other effects.

Better with headphones.”

  1. Basta con gli aeroporti, propongo di andare a fare musica ambient anche: alla stazione ferroviaria, fermata d’autobus…??

  2. No hate comment here, It’s actually pretty decent track considering that it was made using OP-XY only (mostly)…
I still wouldn’t consider it to buy op-xy since I have iPad Pro 13 M4 and the number of apps available on iPad OS that can produce even better results is insane (in a good way) 😉

            1. No, but it can run Logic Pro, Cubasis and ProTools Lite…
              All interchangeable with desktop apps…
All projects made on iPad are available in their desktop apps and vice versa.
I.E. what you start creating on iPad you can finish off on Mac or what you started on Mac you can finalise on iPad

        1. Surface sales have tanked though, because it’s just a bad, expensive laptop. And this is in spite of Microsoft spending billions trying to make fetch happen.

iPad sales are still growing, because it’s designed to be best tablet on the market, not a crappy laptop.
