At Superbooth 2025, being held May 8-10 at the FEZ-Berlin, GS Music introduced the GS MUSIC BRee6 Keyboard.
Here’s a first look, via Starsky Carr, at the BRee6 Keyboard.
“How nice is this?” he asks, adding “I’ve had a little play with it myself, and it sounds gorgeous.”
Official specs are to be announced, but the desktop version of the BRee6 is a polyphonic analog synthesizer that features fully analog sound generation. It offers six voices of polyphony, each equipped with a single voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), and a sub oscillator.
The signal path includes a mixer, a 4-pole low-pass voltage-controlled ladder filter (VCF), and a voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA). The control signals are digitally generated, incorporating one low-frequency oscillator (LFO) and two ADSR-type envelope generators. Additionally, the Bree6 integrates an effects processor with chorus and delay.
Details on pricing and availability are still to come at the GS Music site.
These guys really blew up outta nowhere. The GS e7 was a big hit!
It does sound nice and a bit above its weight class, too. The digital side looks sensible. I appreciate the tiny OLED for those few but vital things. I’d call it a good analog answer for people who want to balance out their more “digital” sources.
I’d be really interested to see how this compares sonically with the DreadBox Artemis.
Both are recent 6-voice analogue synths with built-in FX.
(and then there’s a bunch of higher end 6-voice polys from Sequential).
But i suspect the Artemis may beat all of those thanks to its excellent FX.
What ever happened to that other South American synthesizer company, Sismo?
