Artificial Noise Annouces New Batch Of LAB:1 Synthesizers
Artificial Noise‘s Neil Burnby let us know that they are producing a second run of the LAB:1 Synthesizer. The LAB:1 Synthesizer is a 100% analog, 6 oscillator experimental synthesizer. It features 3 audio oscillators (with Triangle, Sawtooth and Square waveforms), 3 low frequency oscillators (with Triangle and Square waveforms) and 1 voltage controlled low pass filter.
LAB:1 Synthesizer Updated With Low-Pass Filter
Artificial Noise designer Neil Burnby let us know that he’s updated the LAB:1 Synthesizer with a larger, more sturdy case and a Voltage Controlled Low Pass Filter. “The new low pass filter is an interesting one,” says Burnby. “When the resonance is cranked to max, it’s designed to drive the filter hard, causing a nice fuzzy saturation.”
New Artificial Noise LAB:1 Synthesizer Designed To Sound ‘Thick & Raw”
Designer Neil Burnby of Artificial Noise has introduced a new ‘experimental synthesizer’, the LAB:1. The LAB:1 is a 6-oscillator synthesizer, “designed to sound thick and raw, with little regard for stability and ‘clean’ waveforms,” notes Bumby. “Expect to explore strange audio territories with the LAB:1.”
