DVForge has announced the April 8th shipping date of its new JamPlug FM plug-in FM music transmitter for electric guitar or bass guitar.
“With so many musicians in our customer list, it is inevitable that we will sometimes come up with fun little product ideas.” said CJ Sorg, DVForge’s music products manager, “And, the JamPlug FM is about as fun as you can get, if you play electric guitar or electric bass. We have been enjoying casual jam sessions in the parking lot outside of our offices, playing our guitars through our car stereo systems, for instance, using JamPlug FM.”
JamPlug FM is a 1.2″ x 1.8″ x 3.5″ gloss white module that plugs into the output jack of any electric guitar or electric bass, and then transmit the output form the instrument to any nearby FM radio, boombox, car stereo, or home stereo receiver. It literally turns any FM stereo into an impromptu guitar amplifier. JamPlug FM has a built-in rechargeable battery, a removable flexible rubber FM antenna, and, is shipped with a UL-approved AC power supply/charger.
JamPlug FM works with any electric guitar, electric bass, or other instrument that sends a guitar-level output signal through a 1/4-inch instrument jack. The product will begin shipping on April 8th at a MSRP of $49.99, and is available today for prepaid pre-order from the DVForge site.
