Does it deliver?

  • Low CPU and high reliability
  • Easy-to-use interface
  • ‘Unique sounds which no other synthesizer can create’
  • Huge sonic range
  • Flexibility, expandability

  1. Pardon cause my phone browser may have not allowed for me to see when visiting the Tone2 website, but is it PPC compatible? Seems absurd I know but they’re promoting low CPU so I figured it wouldn’t be too far fetched to ask.

  2. The site states that system requirements are:

Mac: Mac OSX 10.5 or higher; G4, G5 or Intel Mac (32 or 64 bit)

  3. Nice soft synth – I like how it runs on PowerPC as well as x86, and the “vintage” demo on the tone2 site is definitely worth listening to.
