Beat Bandit grooves are designed to be appropriate for a wide range of musical genres. Every element of each full-mix loop is broken into individual loops so users can mix and match parts to create their own customized beats.

Nine Volt Audio has kicked off its free online video series with a tutorial titled Creating Soundscapes with Stylus RMX.
The tutorial is a 20-minute, step-by-step tutorial showing Stylus RMX users how to create an eight part tonal and melodic soundscape.
The tutorial utilizes loops from Nine Volt Audio’s latest release Textural REX. All loops used in the tutorial are available for download, which allows owners of Stylus RMX to follow along with each step. Users are also welcome to download the Stylus RMX multi file created in the lesson.
Techniques and features of Stylus RMX covered include: creating custom Edit Groups, Rack Effect Combinations and the Chaos Designer.

Stylus RMX Goes Intel Mac
Spectrasonics has announced support for its Stylus RMX – Realtime Groove Module on Apple Computer’s new Intel Macintosh platform. The new version of Stylus RMX supports all Mac OS X Universal Binary VST and Audio Unit hosts, including Logic Pro 7.2, Garageband 3, Ableton Live 5.2, and others.
Stylus RMX is a groove-based virtual instrument plug-in that combines the power of Groove Control with Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine (S.A.G.E.) technology, giving users dramatic new control over groove production and performance.
Spectrasonics has opened a new Public Beta forum for registered Stylus RMX users to try out the new version and give the company feedback as host software applications become available for the new Intel Mac platform. Read more…
