Behringer announced at The NAMM Show 2006 the addition of two ultra-compact passive direct injection boxes to its ULTRA-DI series β the ULTRA-DI DI600P and ULTRA-DI DI400P.
The ULTRA-DI DI600P comes with a switchable Inst/Amp input for connecting instrument or amplifier outputs (of up to 3,000 Watts) to balanced microphone input for PA and recording. Its high-performance transformer allows the use of long cables without loss of high frequencies and filter switch reduces annoying hiss and buzz.
The ULTRA-DI DI400P is designed to connect a guitar or bass directly to a mixer without losing sound quality due to impedance mismatches, long cables or cycle hum. It allows simultaneous conversion of unbalanced, ΒΌβ jack input into balanced XLR output and routing of the instrument signal to an on-stage amplifier.
Features of the ULTRA-DI DI600P and ULTRA-DI DI400P include:
- High-performance passive direct injections boxes
- Converts any unbalanced signal to balanced output
- Ground lift switch eliminates typical ground-loop problems
- Ultra-compact, all-metal and road-worthy housing
