Image Line Software has updated its mobile mini-DAW, FL Studio Mobile, to version 2.0.
Here’s what’s new in FL Studio Mobile 2.0:
- Audio tracks: audio recording (with monitoring), iPod library import, wav/mp3/aac import, AudioPaste
- Wave editor: cut, trim, normalize, reverse, insert silence, fade in/out (3 curves)
- Amped Guitar & Bass pack in the shop
- Background audio and Virtual MIDI (new option in the general setup)
- New sharing option: Dropbox
- Minimum iOS requirement is 4.2
FL Studio Mobile 2.0 is priced at $14.99 for the iPhone version or $19.99 for the iPad version. It is available in the App Store.
Sorry if I’m silly, but where is the Android version??? I have been waiting for that…
Y no universal!?!?
I’m waiting for the 3.0 then.
Der…if you read the description on iTunes, the HD version runs on all devices. If you just own an iPhone you can save $5.
Yeah, but I still prefer to get little less cramped interface on iPad. Making another interface is not worth of milking another full price. Fortunately this is not the only option.
That thumb down came straight from Image Line! No customer would support the idea of having to buy the same app for all of your devices.
Please Image-Line I request you to release an android version too. Please, am hungry… 🙁
Why only i-products???
How can you forget Androids???
MARK MY WORDS!!! YOU WILL SEE!!!
THERE WILL NEVER BE A 128-BIT FL STUDIO ON ANDROID!!!
I KNOW THE TRUTH!!! BELIEVE!!!

Lol, mobile DAW.
How to think you’re doing things professionally while you’re just using an advanced recorder. A toy.
What’s with the Grinch-like anti-toy attitude? Toys rule (and so do recorders.)
I say: let 1000 awesome musical toys bloom, be they KAOSSilators, Monotrons, OP-1s, VL-1s, Tenori-Ons, Microkorgs, iPads with Animoog, iPhones with FL Studio mobile, whatever!!
Aren’t we “playing” music after all?
Digital 8-track decks used to cost thousands and now they’re $15 apps on devices that fit in your pocket.
I’m not going for an anti-toy attitude, but I am bored of apps trying to turn everyone into a musician.
i’m not even sure there’s a compressor included in it. How the heck ? Are you really planning to record your band demo on an iPad ?
Demo? How about the whole album!!

Why shouldn’t people be encouraged to make music?
Making music is also a personal research. I think we’ve got enough commercial sounds to prevent more people from calling themselves producer when they’re using fruityloops for iphone.
