AM104 CV Mixer Lets You Connect Reaktor Blocks With Analog Hardware

Amazing Machines has introduced AM104 CV Mixer, a new Reaktor Blocks device for Native Instruments Reaktor 6 that’s designed to let you combine Reaktor Blocks modules with actual analog synthesizer modules.

AM104 is an 8 Channel CV Mixer, optimized for use in conjunction with a DC Coupled audio interface to convert Reaktor Blocks signals into analog control voltages.

Features:

  • Dedicated Attenuverters for Inputs 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • Dedicated Attenuverter for the Mixer Output.
  • Mute Switch for Inputs 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • Mute Switch for the Mixer Output.
  • Selectable Pre and Post-Fader Metering for Inputs 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • Inputs 5, 6, 7 and 8 are Unit Gain Inputs, they can be attenuated using a FREE AM103 Expander module..
  • dBFS Peak Display with Reset Switch.
  • Builtin Output Clipper.

AM104 CV Mixer is available for US $9.

  1. I want a VST – MIDI CC (Continuous Controller) message to convert to CV via a DC coupled interface.
Similar to ‘CV Toolkit’ but that is a stand-alone app only.

Does anyone know of anything like this?

    1. i believe that soon to be released new reaktor blocks from NI will do that (and you can run reaktor as a vst)…but don’t quote me on that. Check out sonicstates videos from superbooth16 there are 2 videos on this it might answer your question.

    2. Actually, you can do that with the “Note In” module in Blocks, it gives you Outputs for Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel and Aftertouch, as long as you are not summing control signals, your DA Converters should be safe. Once you start summing LFOs, Envelopes, Oscillators or any other signal in Blocks, you need a Clipper/Hard Limiter to safely convert that sum into Analog CVs, that’s where the AM104 really shines, because it has a dBFS Peak Display and an Output Clipper builtin.

      Cheers!

  2. I have only one question. Can any body makes a list with dc coupled audio interfaces? I cant find anything. Or do you need a expert sleepers module to connect reaktor to real modular?
