Yamaha has introduced a new weekly podcast, Behind the Synth!

The Yamaha podcast is hosted by synth gurus Blake Angelos and Nate Tschetter. Their plan for the podcast is to features conversations about music and Yamaha synthesizers with musicians, producers, sound designers, developers and more.

Episode 001 introduces the hosts and they dig into their decades of experience at the company. Along the way, they talk about how they got into synths, doing sound design for some of the company’s classic synths, the ‘haunted’ sound design room, getting hooked on sound in Topeka, KS, the things that make the CS-80 magical, and how knowing how to play Jump can get you a girl.
