Make Custom Oscillators For Korg ‘Logue Synthesizers Using Pure Data Visual Programming

Boochow Instruments has released a new web app that lets you create custom oscillators for the KORG prologue, minilogue xd, and NTS-1 — using Pure Data.

Korg’s multi-engine platform is designed to open up their synths, so that you can customize them with the synthesis capabilities and effects that you want to have. Boochow’s new tool is designed to simplify this process, so you don’t have to be an experienced developer or know how to code in C.

Pure Data (Pd) is a free and open-source visual programming system, designed for audio and multi-media, that was created by Miller Puckette.

With Boochow Instruments new web app, you can develop Pure Data patches and then drag and drop them onto the app to convert your patch into an oscillator compatible with Korg’s multi-engine synths. The web app handles the work of compiling it into the correct format.

  1. Cool.
I was thinking about porting from Logue to PC/Mac platform/:
    1. Python scripts for code translation to JUCE
    2. Python scripts for code translation To Reaper’s JSFX
    3. Binary translation/execution/micro VM
Now there is another option to convert – PD format.
