DSPTone has introduced SubMass, a new audio effect for Mac & Windows that is designed to help you get a “massive, powerful bass response that remains perfectly tight, clean, and focused”.
SubMass uses a specialized, interactive filtering circuit that creates a resonant volume peak at your chosen target frequency, while simultaneously executing an aggressive high-pass cutoff immediately below it.
They say that this makes your bass instruments feel larger, more focused, and mix-ready.
Audio examples are available at the DSPTone site.
Pricing and Availability:
SubMass is available now with an intro price of $13.50 (normally $18). A trial version is also available.
