Yeah, it seems kinda like Reason’s Combinator with a Dr Rex & a few FX. With a random Euclidean sequencer.
Would’ve been nice if the backing music was explained. Does the app make it with AI or was that added for the demo?
Also – do DAW users bother with sequencers in VSTs? It seems like potentially wasted effort when the user can route control to the host or other dedicated sequencers.
The sequencer triggers the automatic round-robin samples and functionality, compared to much more ocmplex humanization settings in-DAW. (And no mapping is needed compared to doing this in-DAW.) Keeping the sequencer in the plugin you can adjust ADSR envelopes reverb/delay etc in a per step or per pad basis. This would be annoyingly complex in a daw w/ automation lanes you have to set up.
