Haken Audio shared this intro to the Haken Mobile App, an iOS companion to its desktop Haken Editor.

Designed for instruments powered by the EaganMatrix sound engine, the app provides a customized touchscreen interface for adjusting performance controls and managing presets.

The interface is organized around three main areas: macro controls, master settings, and preset selection. Users can modify a preset’s macro parameters, change master settings, browse sounds and save edited versions to their user preset library.

The app is particularly relevant to performers using Haken instruments such as the Continuum and Slim21, offering access to sound controls without requiring a desktop computer. Haken notes that the mobile version is not a complete substitute for the desktop editor.
