Moog Music is celebrating Halloween with a Halloween Theremin Video Contest. They’re asking thereminists to recreate the classic sounds of horror/sci-fi theremin in a music video.
Supersynths have introduced Monstrous Horror Synth – a new software synth for Windows that specializes in “horrific and scary sound effects, spooky instruments and massive percussion.” It’s packed with creepy sounds, including laughter, screams and door creaks, and the standard scary movie instruments (organ, theremin, etc.) Monstrous retails for $20.
