This video, via Davide Mancini, is a technical introduction to the new soundmachines BI1brainterface – a new brainwave to musical equipment interface.
The module has analog outputs (related to Meditation, Attention, 8 EEG bands and the RAW EEG signal) and 1 GATE signal (with a variable threshold). It will be programmable by the user (MIDI channel, cc, etc..) via a USB/serial cable.
Details are to come. The brain-synthesizer interface is expected to be available in September.

Does this have a 5 pin midi port output or just USB? I sure hope it does!
the 5 pin din midi port is pretty clear —
but after seeing this video
i am not sure now practical the euro rack is going to be .??
it does not even have a lcd display .?
It would be interesting to hear the musical response to the brainwaves generated when finding out how this thing works. More like Ornette Coleman than Terry Riley, I suspect. :->
but can it do audio rate?
WTF….. i want to try one of these in the future…
I am a MASTER at controlling my brainwaves. FOCUS THE POWER.. The game AINT ready.
