Thursday was just day 1 of the 2012 NAMM Show, but it’s already shaping up to be one of the most interesting NAMM Shows in recent memory.
We’ve already featured some of the highlights of the show, including:
- The Korg Mini Kaoss Pad 2
- The Waldorf Pulse 2 Analog Synth;
- The Modulation Orgy;
- The Arturia Minibrute;
- The Akai MPC Fly iPad MPC;
- Two new Casio synthesizers;
- The Akai Pro Max 49; and
- The Moog Minitaur synthesizer.
But we also spent the day talking to a lot of people so that we could bring you more stories later this week and later this year. We talked with Michelle Moog-Koussa, Director of the Bob Moog Foundation, Don Buchla of Buchla And Associates; and many others.
We also got updates from Roland, Akai, Novation and other manufacturers; found out some new companies; saw some freaky gear; and ate at Paco’s Tacos.
We’ll have more stories to share with you over the next three days. Check out the photos from the show, below, too!
Livid!! 🙂
Sure! Just taunt us with more photos of the Schmidt Synthesizer! Try to get someone to team up with him and put it into production, would you?
