Bedroom Producers Blog and SampleScience have released GB DrumBox, a free Game Boy virtual instrument for PC and Mac.
GB DrumBox was designed for musicians who want to use authentic Game Boy sounds in their music. The virtual instrument contains twelve drum kits, each with a set of eight Game Boy samples. The user can adjust the volume, pan, and decay time for each channel. The filter cutoff, reverb level, attack time, and modulation are applied globally. The plugin also offers multi-out functionality. If multiple outputs are used, the global filter and reverb effects will turn off automatically.
