Developer Christophe Duquesne let us know that he’s released Loris Synth, a new analysis and resynthesis tool for the EaganMatrix.
The EaganMatrix is the synth engine that powers the Haken Continuum synth line, the Expressive E Osmose and other synths.
It’s available now for macOS, with a Windows version in the works. Here’s the official video intro:
Analysis Resynthesis tool for the EaganMatrix
Loris Synth is an Analysis & Resynthesis tool for the EaganMatrix, allowing you to create your own analysis, send them to the EaganMatrix, and design EaganMatrix presets using them.
The purpose of Analysis & Resynthesis is to analyze an audio sample, and extract from it all the necessary information to drive the EaganMatrix Additive Bank. It will provide a result heavily inspired from the initial sample that can be manipulated in an infinite number of ways. It is not sampling, and not intended to be imitative: its purpose is to open a brand new sonic world based on the initial samples.
Note: You must own a product running an EaganMatrix to be able to use it (Continuum, ContinuuMini, EaganMatrix Module, ContinuuMicro or Osmose). Furthermore the EaganMatrix will have to run the 10.44 firmware and up to be compliant with all the Loris Synth features. (Osmose will not have this firmware before first trimester of 2025).

seems like an obvious fit
@Sabazios: Seems that Replicate from Micromusic fits that bill. See: https://www.synthtopia.com/content/2024/05/13/micromusic-ai-powered-synth-preset-generator-recreates-patches-from-audio/
